Faith & … Justice: A Journey with James Baldwin

Join us for a conversation about the work of James Baldwin as Christian and Sara set the table for our current Faith & Justice work as we take “A Journey with James Baldwin.” James Baldwin, widely considered one of the most incisive and original critics of racism in the United States.  “I Am Not Your Negro”examines racism in the United States through Baldwin’s words and history, while “If Beale Street Could Talk” is a story depicting the beauty, challenges, and complexity of life in black America based on James Baldwin’s novel by the same title. We invite you to watch both films and come with your thoughts and questions for our virtual conversation on April 13th from 6:30 – 8:00pm

From the Zoom Conversation on 4/13/21
